The Order of Labor Glory is the only Soviet labor order that was divided into degrees. According to the statute and order of awarding, as well as the benefits provided to holders of all three degrees, the Order of Labor Glory corresponds to the combat Order of Glory.
The Order of Labor Glory has three degrees, the highest degree of the order is the first degree. The awarding is done sequentially: first the third, then the second, then the first degree. This is the only Soviet order awarded for labor excellence that is divided into degrees. In its statute and the benefits granted to holders of all three degrees, the Order of Labor Glory corresponds to the combat Order of Glory.
The Order of Labor Glory, 3rd class, has only the two lower rows of wheat ears, the ribbon outline, and the inscriptions "USSR" and "LABOR GLORY" gilded. The rest of the surface of the order and the applied sickle and hammer are oxidized. There is no enamel in the central part of the order.
The height of the order is 43 mm (47 mm including the eyelet at the top), the width is 41 mm.
The Order of Labor Glory of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd class was made of silver. The silver content in the order of any class is 33.264±1.389 g (as of September 18, 1975). The total weight of the 1st and 2nd class orders is 36.16±1.7 g. The total weight of the 3rd class order is 36.03±1.7 g.
The order is connected to a pentagonal bar by means of an eyelet and a ring, covered with a 24 mm wide silk moire ribbon with one longitudinal stripe of dark gray and one stripe of yellow colors. The width of the dark gray stripe is 11 mm, the yellow one is 12 mm. In the middle of the yellow stripe are red longitudinal stripes: for the first class - one, 5 mm wide, for the second - two, 2 mm wide each, and for the third class - three, 1 mm wide each.
