Condition:
Original good condition. No overseas shipping. Authentic original from the WWII time period. (Please see my other eBay listing for another similar listing from the same group being sold separate from WWII US Lt. General Mark Clark with a signed letter and patches sent to the same Cadet Philip Rowe during the war). Original reply letter is dated March 1944 from Lt. General Ira Eaker to Cadet Philip Rowe who was serving at the Castle Heights Military Academy. The letter is hand signed / autographed by General Eaker to the bottom of the typed letter along with his signature to the front of the envelope. The envelope is post marked March 1944. General Eaker included two 8th Air Force patches as per his request. The envelope and letter has some edge wear and foxing. Please note pictures for detailed condition and information. The paper items will be shipped folded as were found stored since after the war.
