breathtaking
piece
exemplifies
quality and uniqueness in every facet. Piece is
exemplary
modeled after the Austrian order of Franz
Joseph
and exhibits lovely
gilding
and rich color.
Made
of multiple pieces, the beautiful blended layering of each component truly shows just how
magnificent
this piece truly is.
Complete
with the "FJ" center medallion which also can opened up with the attachment of a hinge revealing a
compartment
very similar to the order itself. The rich cold painted center white medallion, red cross and black painted eagle wings further exemplify this beautiful piece. Item has hanging hardware hooks behind and above the Austrian Crown and is stamped "
gesetzlich geschützte".
Condition:
Great condition, minimal signs of wear/damage. Some flaking on the paint and general signs of use/display. The three latched on the inside of the hinged door
appear
to be resoldered. The right side of the "Viribusunitis" where the S connects to the right side of the cross appears to have been reconnected.

Just over 12 1/2" long and just under 7 1/2" wide and 2" depth (highest point is crown)
