Draft script for an unproduced film. Based on Richard Parker's 1953 crime novel of the same name. Laid in is a typed letter from Mage to the Paul Kohner agency in Los Angeles, dated July 1, 1968, and signed by Mage, requesting that the script be considered for development, and that Mr. Gugo-Salice of Lux Films France is interested in producing the film. Mage's name and contact information also on the first leaf, in holograph ink.
Black titled wrappers. Title page present, dated 1966, noted as FIRST DRAFT, with credits for screenwriters Mage and Revon, and novelist Parker. 137 leaves, with last page of text numbered 134, and a laid-in letter. Mechanical duplication. Pages and wrapper Near Fine, bound internally with two gold brads.
