    Truck Curbside Deliveries (default option)
    All the delivery prices advertised online include curbside delivery by default. Curbside delivery means that the shipper will bring the package to your address, pull the truck up to the front of your house, load the package(s) onto the lift gate on the back of the truck, lower the lift, and push the package(s) onto the sidewalk in front of your house. If there is not an incline or stairs leading to your house, they may wheel the package(s) to your door. But, the point of curbside delivery is that the package(s) are too heavy for one delivery person to haul up an incline or upstairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside. It is also your responsibility to unpack the item, completing any necessary assembly, remove the debris.

    When your order shipped you will get the trucking number, you will be able to contact the shipping company to find out exact delivery date and time. Shipping company call 24-48 hours before delivery to make an appointment.  Please check merchandise condition before you signg delivery slip.
    All shipments must be inspected by the customer upon delivery.
    Delivery driver is obligated to wait for you to inspect every single box delivered for any visible damages.  NOTE EVERY BOX IMPERFECTION on the delivery slip before signing it.
    If you notice a slight damage to the package of the delivered via freight shipment, accept it, make notes on the Delivery Slip, and contact us. Make detailed pictures (2-3 photos from different points) and sent it to us with description. The replacement parts or items will be shipped to you without additional charge.
    You will not be able to unpack the packaging to inspect the merchandise when it is delivered by the freight company, but you are only signing for intact packaging, not the product. Make sure you will have someone  to help you to bring furniture inside.

    • Any items which require longer assembly periods, more than 15 stairs, or any other unusual delivery services are available on a case by case basis and may require additional fees, which you will see at the checkout if there is any.

    Manufacturer's 1-Year Limited Warranty
    As a company, we are only responsible to deliver you the furniture in a perfect condition. All products sold on the website come with 1-year limited* manufacturer's warranty unless mentioned in the product description**.
    *Limited means not every case of damage will be honored as a warranty case. There are often cases of misuse, worn-off, etc, and those things are not decided by us, but by respected manufacturers.
    **Sohomod doesn't have and doesn't offer any warranty on the product we sell because we do not design/produce/make the item.
    If some of the furniture at the date of delivery (or within 7 days) is found defective or damaged - we will exchange it at no cost.
    If any issue has occurred more than 14 days from the delivery, make sure it is still covered with the '1-year limited manufacturer's warranty'.
    If it is still covered with the '1-year limited manufacturer's warranty' please email us throw Ebay contact form and include the picture, item number, quantity, invoice or PO number, and a brief description of the problem. We will forward your claim to the manufacturer, and from that moment the manufacturer will make the final decision to accept or reject the claim.
    Manufacturer's Warranty is void in case of:
    • The '5-Year Extended Warranty' was added to your order.
    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Damages incurred during assembling or maintenance. If you choose to do your own assembly we can not be responsible for damages during that process.
    • Damages incurred by accidents or abuse. (In this case we suggest to purchase 'Extended Warranty')
    • Improper maintenance or improper use resulting in damage.
    • This warranty covers only pieces of furniture intended for residential use only, does not cover any industrial, commercial, institutional, or rental use.
    • Dissatisfaction due to buyer's remorse.
    Damages Policy
    If your order arrived damaged or defective then you must report the issue within 48 hours after delivery to be eligible for a replacement. Replacement will be sent free of change. If a replacement is available but refused due to any reason then shipping charges (both ways) are deducted from the refund. The same conditions for «Free Shipping» items.
    If you notice a slight damage to the package of the delivered via freight shipment, accept it, make notes on the Delivery Slip, and contact us. The replacement parts or items will be shipped to you without additional charge.
    It’s critical to report the issue within that time period so that a claim can be filed with the carrier. We encourage you to inspect the packaging of the item before you accept the item from the carrier. If the packaging or the item appears damaged when it arrives, you should take pictures of the damage and you may inform the carrier and refuse delivery. In that case, please report the issue and you can choose to receive a replacement or a refund.
    No matter what type of damage occurred please save the packaging. Discarded packaging will effectively void the claim.
    Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment shortly after SohoMod receives and processes the eligible item.
    Cancellation Policy
    Orders can be cancelled anytime before the shipment process without cancellation fee; Once an order is placed, we immediately submit the order directly to our or the manufacturer's warehouse, ensuring it’s shipped to you as quickly as possible.
    ‘Backorder’ can be cancelled anytime before the shipment process without cancellation fee.
    Order cancellation should be confirmed via email. Send an email to  with your name, order number, and reason for cancelling; Cancellations made via phone or chat are not official. If your cancellation request is approved, you will receive an email confirming the cancellation.
    Orders that are being held in our warehouse for delayed delivery at the request of the customer and layaway orders cannot be cancelled. If you  still need to cancel it please refer to the return policy.
    Orders picked up the the warehouse or loaded into the truck for the delivery is considered as the shipped order.
    If the order has already been shipped, and then cancelled, please refer to the return policy. (You will be responsible for the shipping charges even if your order states «Free Delivery» we still pay to the shipping companies for those services.)
    Order cannot be canceled if the scheduled delivery date or time frame has moved, because of Force Majeure circumstances or slight delays caused by any reasons (e.g., incorrect contact information, difficult access to the property, weather conditions, failed delivery attempts, technical issues, driver's prescheduled route, etc.). If you still want to cancel it, it goes through the regular Return Policy.
