Description
This auction is for THREE (3) SOVIET RUSSIAN PILOT'S BADGES ( WINGS), 1966-type, ONE CLASS 2 AND TWO CLASS 3, two with PIN-BACK, and one with a screwpost attachment. ALL THREE are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with bright gold-tone finish and intact enamel. There seem to be hallmarks, on the reverse of the two with pin backs, right side, near the outer wingtip, faintly visible in the photos on one, and on the other, under the right side of the pin, both, I believe, the star-shaped marks of the "Pobeda" factory, the premier source for these badges. The screwback badge is, itself, unmarked, but its screwnut has the legend, "Factory Pobeda, Moscow", in raised lettering, in Russian. The middle badge is somewhat smaller than the other two, both in wingspan and in size of the shield, while the crossed swords have flat, shorter blades than the other two, apparently a unusual, subvariant of sorts. Please, study the photos carefully, as they are of the EXACT THREE that you would be bidding on and, also, ASK ANY & ALL QUESTIONS BEFOREBIDDING!
PLEASE, NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING on these items!
