From my airship collection I offer this original 1914 beginning of WW 1 lovely toned proof silver medal. Known as the KuK empire I include it with my airship collection as it is part of WW 1 like many of my zeppelin medals and it is a good fit. It is 33mm in about perfect condition with lovely blue and gold old silver toning. A world war 1 series of medals it has the co-joined busts of KAISER FRANZ JOSEPH 1 AND KAISER WILHELM II facing right. The lovely reverse has legend EINIGKEIT MACHT .STARK.=UNITY IS STRENGTH. Date AUGUST 1914 at bottom. Shields of Arms of Germany and Austria-Hungary center. Wonderful eye appeal. I  see only one other that just sold for 9 from a well known dealer who described his as a lovely toned proof and one other up now for 0 called EF. Mine is a near perfect proof and priced much lower.
